ABOUT THE IMAGE:  Besides being the indisputable leader of the gang, he’s thirty-five years old and still on his first life! Influenced by television’s “You’ll Never Get Rich” with Phil Silvers, Top Cat debuted September 27, 1961 as Hanna-Barbera’s second prime-time cartoon series (following The Flintstones). Voiced by character actor and comedian Arnold Stang, Top Cat actually a living in a New York City alley trash can seem enviable. "The Most Effectual Top Cat" is re-created from The Late T.C., the twenty-second of the series’ thirty episodes, and is hand-signed by the creators of the smart-aleck feline and his crew, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Hand-painted limited edition cels showcase legendary characters and recreate classic moments from great cartoons, using the same materials and techniques as were used in making the originals. Cel painting is a time-honored, and extremely exacting process requiring that each color be individually applied by hand.
